Looking back at a very successful and interesting ICA 2018, with the Annie Lang Dissertation Award of the information systems division and the Emerging Scholar Research Grant of the Mobile Communication Interest Group to conduct research as two personal highlights!

It is almost a year ago that I defended my dissertation. Winning the dissertation award is the icing on the cake. It is a tremendous honor. I want to thank my advisors Edith Smit & Hilde Voorveld for all the feedback and meaningful discussions.

I’m also looking forward to use the emerging scholar research grant to kick-off a new research project. I’m very excited about this project and can’t wait to get this started. The grant will really help me to get the project off the ground. To be continued (see projects).
